ABOUT US
UNC Finance Society
The UNC Finance Society (UFS) is a student-run organization at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill that aims to educate students on finance-related topics and facilitate strong internship recruiting placement. Specifically, UFS hosts nearly all corporate-related finance events on campus, conducts finance training presentations, and manages the finance listserv for UNC. Students must be members of UFS to attend these on-campus recruiting events or receive the UNC finance listserv. To join, please sign up and pay your semesterly dues here.
Additionally, UFS has 3 main subsidiary clubs, which operate independently but receive their funding from UFS. These clubs are as follows:
1. UNC Portfolio Management Team - Highly selective student-run investment fund mainly geared towards underclassmen and helping them place into top internships. Manages ~$100k AUM.
2. UNC Investment Banking Bootcamp - Intensive 10-12 week investment banking training program taught by
upperclassmen with top finance offers, which occurs during the fall semester.
3. UNC Reynolds Fund - Highly selective student-run investment fund mainly geared towards upperclassmen who
have secured their primary internship offers. Manages ~$600k AUM.
