Meet The Team

Beckett is a senior from Orange County, California studying Business Administration at UNC Chapel Hill. Next year, he will be joining Evercore’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group as an Investment Banking Analyst in New York. Previously, he interned as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Evercore’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group, as well as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst at Bank of America’s Global Industrials Group. Outside of UFS, Beckett also serves as a Board Member of the UNC Portfolio Management Team, Board Member of BlueBridge Partners, Private Equity Senior Associate on the Kenan-Flagler Private Equity Fund, and has founded a few other finance organizations.  

Mason is a senior from Massachusetts. He is double majoring in Business Administration and Hispanic Studies. Mason has been working in wealth management with The Miller Group at Morgan Stanley since May 2023, first as an Intern and now as a Team Administrator. Mason is a leader in his campus ministry, Reformed University Fellowship, and is a member at Church of the Good Shepherd in Durham. When not working or studying, you can find Mason reading, taking photos, cooking, or running.

Kiara Casmer is a senior from Colorado studying Business Administration at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Last summer, she interned as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst at Deutsche Bank NYC. Next summer, she will intern as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs NYC. Outside UFS, Kiara also participates as Co-Head of the Investment Banking Bootcamp, Director of Internal Affairs for the UBP CEI Board, National DE&I Taskforce for Scholars of Finance, on the Reynolds Fund, and as an ambassador for several organizations toward DEI, disability, and organ donation causes. In her free time, she enjoys Formula 1, skiing, trying new restaurants, and fashion. 

Bhuvan is a sophomore at UNC Kenan-Flagler studying Business with a minor in Creative Writing. This upcoming summer, he will be interning at Bank of America as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst in New York City. Outside UFS, Bhuvan co-founded a venture capital advisory startup and is a sector head in UNC’s Portfolio Management Team. He also holds a firm belief that he can go pro in Pickleball. 

Rex Rokahr is a freshman from Charlotte, NC, pursuing a major in Business Administration and minoring in data science. Since coming to UNC in August, Rex has gotten involved in the UNC Portfolio Management Team as a consumer staples sector analyst and as an intern for Winterford Capital. Beyond UNC, Rex enjoys the outdoors as an Eagle Scout and as a white-water raft guide for the US National White-Water Center.  

Benjamin is a senior from London, England studying Economics with a minor in Business Administration. Next year, Ben will be joining the Raine Group, as an investment banking and growth equity analyst in the New York Office. Previously, he interned at Spectrum Equity in San Francisco, a growth equity firm focused on software and data businesses, and at C5 Capital, a defense-tech focused VC. Outside of UFS, Ben was a Senior Associate on the Kenan-Flagler Private Equity Fund and a sector head of the Impact Investing Fund. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, and travelling to new locations both within and outside the United States.

Parth Mohan is a freshman from Cary, North Carolina studying Business Administration and Data Science. Parth is an analyst for the Portfolio Management Team, a business consultant for 180 Degrees Consulting, an equity research analyst for Carolina Investment Group, a consultant for the TAMID Group, a member of the Undergraduate Business Symposium Core Committee, and a brother at Scale and Coin. Outside of school, Parth enjoys football, weightlifting, and patiently waiting for Kanye to drop an album.    

Chris is a junior from Pinehurst, North Carolina studying Business Administration and Data Science. This past summer, Chris worked at Davidson Capital Advisors for investment banking, and will work at Leerink Partners next summer for investment banking. Chris is also on the executive board for PMT, Venture Capital Club, and is President of Fixed Income Association. When not busy with work or school, Chris enjoys professional football, cooking, and film photography.

Diya Bhatt is a junior studying Business Administration at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and Physics with a concentration in Quantitative Finance. Last summer, she was an M&A Consulting Intern at Deloitte in their New York office. In addition to UFS, Diya also serves as the President of the Quantitative Finance Association, Captain of UNC Chalkaa, the Quant Head for BlueBridge Partners, and is currently a GWI Online Intensive Scholar. Diya is also passionate about reading and music.

Lizzy Xie is a junior from Shanghai, studying Statistics. Outside UFS, she serves as a healthcare sector analyst for Portfolio Management Team, an investment analyst for Impact Investing Fund, and a board member of the Fixed Income Association. In her spare time, Lizzy enjoys traveling, photography and hiking.

Mira is a sophomore from Mint Hill, North Carolina studying Business Administration and Philosophy. At UNC, Mira serves as the Consumer Staples Sector Head for the Portfolio Management Team and is the VP of Leadership Development for Scholars of Finance. This past summer, she interned with WSC | Heritage, a middle-market private equity firm in Charlotte. Outside of work, Mira enjoys trying new cuisines and maintains a running list of 100+ of her favorite eateries. She also has keen interests in travel abroad and F1 (McLaren); she attended the 2024 Spa GP in Belgium.

Chloe Pearson is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Business Administration with minors in Conflict Management and Entrepreneurship. This past summer, Chloe served as a program consultant for Serve the City Paris, where she spearheaded a capstone project focused on optimizing the organization’s structure and operational efficiency. At UNC, she holds the position of Vice President of Finance for Alpha Delta Pi, works as a research assistant at the Family Enterprise Center, and contributes to the Outreach Committee for the Order of the Bell Tower. Chloe is set to join J.P. Morgan as a CIB Risk Summer Analyst next summer.  

Simone is a sophomore from Ventura, California majoring in Economics and Business Administration. At UNC, Simone is the Materials Sector Head for PMT, a Sector Head for the Impact Investing club, and is a member of the Federal Reserve Challenge team. She also works as an economic analyst for the Carolina Population Center. This past summer, she interned with BWCP – a long-short equity hedge fund in Dallas that utilizes quantitative and fundamental framework to manage $500M in AUM. In her free time, Simone enjoys long distance running, listening to music, and cooking.

Kate Halloran, a sophomore from Cleveland, Ohio, is majoring in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Data Statistics. She is aspiring to enter a career in market equity research. Last summer she interned as an Equity Research Analyst at Cleveland Research Company in the fintech sector. She additionally interned as an analyst for Evolution Capital Partners, a private equity firm dedicated to micro-market companies. This upcoming summer, she will study abroad at the London School of Economics taking business and leadership courses. Outside UFS, Kate participates as an ambassador for Panhellenic DEI, Assistant to Finance for Alpha Delta Pi, as well as a student researcher for several companies. In her spare time, she enjoys running, traveling, and trying new food.

Isabella is a sophomore from Newport Beach, CA majoring in Business Administration. Outside of PMT, she also serves as the Communications Director of the UNC Finance Society, Assistant Vice President of Professional Development for the Carolina Women in Business, and is a member of Order of the Bell Tower and BlueBridge.

Rachel Earnhardt is a junior from Charlotte, North Carolina studying Business Administration at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler with minors in Data Science and Food Studies. This past summer, Rachel worked as a Real Estate Investment Summer Analyst for The Dinerstein Companies in Houston, Texas with a focus on acquisitions and development in the CRE industry. Outside UFS, Rachel volunteers as a NC Special Olympics sports coach, is a member of the UNC Honor Court, and enjoys learning about the correlation between human biology and food cultures. Next summer, Rachel will be an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Deutsche Bank in NYC.

Madhuriha Chinta is a freshman from Cary, North Carolina studying Business Administration and Data Science. At UNC, Madhuriha is also the Career Development Chair for the Undergraduate International Business Club, an investment analyst at the Impact Investing Club, an equity research analyst with the Carolina Investment Group, and a dancer on UNC’s Bhangra Elite. Outside of school, Madhuriha enjoys traveling, tennis, classic film, and some retail therapy.  

Andres is a sophomore studying Data Science at UNC Chapel Hill, originally from Wilmington, North Carolina. This upcoming summer, he will be joining Fidelity Investments as an Investment Research Sophomore Summer Associate in Boston, Massachusetts. Previously, he summered at Deloitte as a Discovery Freshman Intern in their Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York, and summered at J.P. Morgan and Bank of America before that. Outside of UFS, Andres co-founded a venture capital advisory startup and is an Analyst on UNC’s Portfolio Management Team. He can beat Bhuvan in Pickleball.

Gavin Zhu is a junior studying Business Administration and Computer Science.

Keller is a sophomore from Shanghai, China. He is double majoring in Business and political science. Outside of UFS, Keller is also an analyst on PMT for the consumer staples sector and interned in venture capital last summer. In his free time he enjoys keeping up with current events, going to the gym, playing basketball and hanging out with friends. 

Jeren is a current sophomore at UNC studying Business Administration and Philosophy originally from Littleton, CO. Last summer, he interned at Quadriga Partners doing Healthcare M&A. Outside of UFS, Jeren is a sector head in the Portfolio Management Team, Carolina Investment Group, and Impact Investing Club. He is also the Vice President of Professional Development in Scholars of Finance and the Treasurer of UNC Public Health Brigades.

Owen Atkeson is a sophomore from Bronxville, New York studying Business Administration and Physics. Last summer he interned at Delta Investment Management, a data-driven investment management firm, and Night Owl Capital Management, a long-only concentrated hedge fund. Outside of UFS, Owen is an analyst on the Portfolio Management Team and plays on the UNC Club Lacrosse team.
